Food is at the heart of so many NYC stories – and very often, it’s delivered by Grubhub.
I wrote, directed, and was the creative lead on this campaign for Grubhub, designed to target its core NYC market. We wanted to put food at the center of classic summer-in-NYC moments: rooftop dinners, bagel brunches, potluck picnics in the park. It was particularly important to highlight return-to-office elements, like underwhelming office happy hours and lunches. We wanted to emphasize Grubhub’s deep variety of options, as well as its new convenience offerings.
This series of ads involved 16 total scenes across 4 shoot days, with 18 total talent. It was a whirlwind – just like summer in NYC.
