Spoonful of Comfort sells care packages full of soup and cookies. But it’s main product isn’t food – it’s love, delivered.
I wrote, directed, and was the creative lead on this campaign. The idea was to de-emphasize the product in favor of the faces and emotions loved ones feel when receiving their Spoonful of Comfort. It’s like receiving a warm hug in a box.
We focused on 3 of the most common ordering occasions: housewarming, get well, and new parents. For the creative direction, I wanted this to feel more cinematic and emotion-driven than my more product-heavy commercials. Ultimately we produced a :30s hero spot and 3 :15s spots, which launched on CTV ahead of the 2024 holidays.
