Outstanding Foods has all sorts of health benefits – but for a snack brand, the main thing we wanted to highlight was TASTE. That ‘holy sh*t’ moment when you have that first bite – enough to get you dancing in the chips aisle. We knew taste would sell the product, with its better-for-you benefits as bonus to remove any residual snacking guilt.
We had already helped Outstanding Foods grow DTC sales 730% through influencer / UGC style ads, significantly building their ecommerce presence. We designed this campaign with two objectives in mind: to place the buyer in a retail setting, and to boost Outstanding Foods’ offline legitimacy by showing they’re established enough to make commercials.
I co-wrote, directed and was the creative lead on this ad, which we filmed with an overnight shoot at a NYC grocery store.
